That said, Tidal should really allow users to remove themselves entirely from its database, but it doesn't currently have that functionality - nor does Spotify though. The lawsuit is seeking for a judge to order that information be deleted, which actually isn't unreasonable. There is also an argument here that as well as money, Tidal got access to personal information. I can see the logic that people who signed up might feel that they had been misled, but does what someone says on Now, I'm not a legal expert but I'm struggling with the notion that a Tweet is legally binding. The argument here is that West tricked people into signing up to Tidal, claiming it was the only place that would ever have his album.
